Tossa de Mar

It is a perfect example of what is called Costa Brava.
For its coast part is rocky, granitic in character, abruptly entering the sea, even though time and erosion have managed to open a series of small coves and caves that are sometimes very difficult for visitors to access.
On the inside we find the "Massis de Cadiretes", a protected natural space with an infinite number of possibilities of routes where we can find the typical Mediterranean forest and its characteristic vegetation.
The village of Tossa de Mar has managed to maintain the balance between its history and the present, and now it is a tourist center all year round, where visitors can practice all kinds of sports and other activities. It gives us the option to participate in walks and excursions to one of the most important historical sites in the area: Vila Vella, surrounded by a great wall, the only example of a fortified medieval town on the Costa Brava.
